Getting into Supervision


Course Description:

This interactive and practical course prepares participants to undertake the role of a Supervisor. Participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of supervision, how to lead at a management level, and the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of a supervisor. New supervisors will learn the core components of their role such as program management, financial management, labour relations and performance management. They will also understand the requisite skill required such as communications, negotiations, problem solving, financial management and budgeting.
